Abstract:
This study aimed to examine the availability of services provided to students with special needs and the level of satisfaction with these services from the perspectives of teachers and families. The researchers employed the descriptive analytical method, as it aligns with the nature of the study. The study sample consisted of (50) male and female teachers from public schools affiliated with the Yatta Directorate, and (35) families of students with various disabilities. A standardized measurement tool was used for data collection.

The study yielded several key findings, including:

1_The presence of statistically significant differences between teachers and parents in the level of satisfaction with the support services provided to students with special needs, where the level of satisfaction was generally “dissatisfied” among the targeted respondents.

2_Statistically significant differences were found between teachers and parents in their satisfaction with support services for visually impaired students; teachers expressed a “dissatisfied” level, while parents reported a “moderate satisfaction” level.

Based on these findings, the researchers recommended:

1_Distributing informational brochures to raise awareness regarding support services.

2_Raising family awareness about the support services related to their child’s disability and the rights they should claim from relevant community institutions.

3_Highlighting the importance of early detection, intervention, and preventive measures to reduce the effects of disability.
