الملخص :

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على اتجاهات أولياء أمور طلبة الصف التاسع الأساسي نحو نظام التعليم المهني التقني (BTEC) في لواء المزار الجنوبي، وكذلك الكشف عن وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في هذه الاتجاهات تُعزى لمتغير جنس الطالب، وجنس ولي الأمر المستجيب للاستبانة. تم تطبيق مقياس اتجاهات أولياء الأمور نحو نظام التعليم (BTEC) الذي طورته الباحثة، بعد التحقق من صدقه وثباته. تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع أولياء أمور طلبة الصف التاسع الأساسي في المدارس الحكومية والخاصة وعددهم (2074) طالبًا وطالبةً، فيما بلغت عينة الدراسة (326) فردًا من أولياء الأمور. أظهرت النتائج أن اتجاهات أولياء الأمور نحو نظام (BTEC) جاءت على المستوى الكلي بدرجة متوسطة. كما بينت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الجنس للطالب أو لولي الأمر. وأوصت الدراسة بتكثيف حملات التوعية الإعلامية بنظام (BTEC) لتشمل أولياء أمور الطلبة.

Abstract:
This study aimed to identify the attitudes of parents of ninth-grade students toward the BTEC technical and vocational education system in Al-Mazar Al-Janoubi District, and to examine whether statistically significant differences in attitudes exist based on the student’s gender, and the respondent parent’s gender. A parent attitude scale toward the BTEC system, developed by the researcher, was applied after verifying its validity and reliability. The study population included all parents of ninth-grade students in public and private schools, totaling 2,074 students, while the sample consisted of 326 parents. The results indicated that parents’ overall attitudes toward the BTEC system were moderate, with a mean score of 3.64 and a standard deviation of 0.59. The findings showed no statistically significant differences in attitudes related to the student or parent’s gender. The study recommended intensifying media awareness campaigns about the BTEC system to include parents of students.
