الملخص :

يهدف هذا البحث إلى إبراز العلاقة بين الآية وسبب نزولها على منهج أهل السنة والجماعة، وقد اعتمدت في هذا على ما صح من أسباب النزول في مسألة الاستغفار للمشركين، وأخذت في توضيح من يجوز الدعاء له بالرحمة ومن لا يجوز الدعاء له، مع ذكر أقوال العلماء في ذلك.

وإن مما يشرح الآية ويبين مقاصدها، سبب نزولها؛ وهو ما يدل على الحكمة الباعثة على الأحكام، وقد ذهب عدد من العلماء إلى أن سبب النزول هو أول ما يجب الوقوف عليه.

وما نقلته وسطرته في هذا البحث إن كان صواباً فمن الله وحده، وإن كان خطأً فمني ومن الشيطان، وأسأل الله جل في علاه أن يعينني ويوفقني إلى الصواب.

Abstract:

This research aims to highlight the relationship between a Quranic verse and the circumstances of its revelation (*sabab al-nuzul*), in accordance with the methodology of *Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’ah*. Specifically, it examines authentic accounts regarding the revelation of verses concerning seeking forgiveness for polytheists (*mushrikin*). It clarifies for whom it is permissible—and for whom it is impermissible—to pray for mercy, while citing the views of scholars on this matter.

Understanding the circumstances of a verse’s revelation serves to elucidate its meaning and underlying objectives; it reveals the wisdom that prompted the establishment of specific rulings. Indeed, many scholars have argued that the circumstances of revelation are the very first aspect that must be examined when interpreting a verse.

Whatever is presented and recorded in this research—if correct, it is from Allah alone; if erroneous, it is from me and the Devil. I pray to Allah, the Exalted, to assist me and guide me toward what is right.
