الملخص :

      هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور الأنشطة الطلابية في تنمية المهارات القيادية لدى طلاب جامعة جدة من وجهة نظرهم، والتعرف إلى أثر المتغيرات (التخصص – السنة الجامعية – المعدل التراكمي – عدد المشاركات في الأنشطة) في تقديرات الطلبة لدور الأنشطة الطلابية في تنمية المهارات القيادية لديهم. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي , وتضمن مجتمع الدراسة طلبة البكالوريوس بجامعة جدة للعام الجامعي ( 2025- 2026 ) وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (400) طالب، واستخدمت الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن دور الأنشطة الطلابية في تنمية المهارات القيادية  لدى طلاب جامعة جدة من وجهة نظرهم , جاءت بدرجة مرتفعة  , على المستوى الكلي , وفي جميع المحاور  , وبينت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير التخصص في محوري المهارات الشخصية والاجتماعية, و وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية  في محوري المهارات الإدارية والفنية تعزى لمتغير التخصص ,  كما كشفت الدراسة عن عدم  وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير السنة الجامعية , ومتغير المعدل التراكمي في جميع المحاور ماعدا محور المهارات الفنية توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير المعدل التراكمي  ولصالح الذين معدلهم التراكمي (3.75 وأعلى) ,  وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير عدد المشاركات في الأنشطة، في محاور المهارات الإدارية والفنية والشخصية و لصالح الذين لديهم عدد المشاركات في الأنشطة (ثلاث مرات وأكثر),  وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في محور المهارات الاجتماعية

Abstract :

The study aimed to identify the role of student activities in developing leadership skills among students at the University of Jeddah from their perspectives, and to examine the effect of variables (major, academic year, cumulative GPA, and number of participations in activities) on students’ evaluations of the role of student activities in developing their leadership skill. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was employed. The study population consisted of undergraduate students at the University of Jeddah during the academic year (2025–2026). The study sample comprised (400) students. A questionnaire was used as the data collection tool. The results of the study indicated that the role of student activities in developing leadership skills among University of Jeddah students, from their perspectives, was rated as high at the overall level and across all dimensions. The findings also showed no statistically significant differences attributable to the major variable in the domains of personal and social skills, while statistically significant differences were found in the domains of administrative and technical skills attributable to the major variable. Furthermore, the study revealed no statistically significant differences attributable to the academic year variable, nor to the cumulative GPA variable across all domains, except for the technical skills domain, where statistically significant differences were found in favor of students with a cumulative GPA of (3.75 and above). The results also indicated the presence of statistically significant differences attributable to the number of participations in activities in the domains of administrative, technical, and personal skills, in favor of students who participated in activities three times or more, while no statistically significant differences were found in the domain of social skills.
