الملخص:

إن الحديث عن الطبقة البورجوازية في المجتمع المغربي، يكتنفه الكثير من الغموض والاضطراب، فقد تراوحت كتابات المؤرخين والسوسيولوجين المغاربة وكذلك الأجانب بين من ينفي وجود طبقة بورجوازية مغربية خلال القرن 19 وغياب المعايير الأساسية التي يمكن من خلالها مقارنة المغرب مع أوربا فيما يخص الموضوع، وبين من يقر وإن بشكل غير جلي بوجود فئة متميزة في الأوساط الاجتماعية لبعض الحواضر المغربية سواء من حيث الأدوار، أو من حيث الوظائف التي قاموا بها داخل المجتمع المغربي، إلى حد يمكن القول أن إرهاصات فئة جديدة قد بدأت في الظهور.

Abstract :

Discussions about the bourgeoisie in Moroccan society are shrouded in ambiguity and confusion. The writings of Moroccan and foreign historians and sociologists have ranged from those who deny the existence of a Moroccan bourgeoisie during the 19th century, and the absence of basic criteria by which to compare Morocco with Europe on this subject. Those who acknowledge, albeit vaguely, the existence of a distinct class within the social milieu of some Moroccan cities, both in terms of their roles and the functions they performed within Moroccan society. To the extent that it can be said that the beginnings of a new class have begun to emerge.
