تعد القضية الفلسطينية تعد واحدة من أكثر القضايا تعقيدا في العالم حيث تعود جذورها إلى النصف الأول من القرن العشرين، وتتعلق بالحقوق السياسية والإنسانية للشعب الفلسطيني، بما في ذلك حقه في تقرير المصير وإقامة دولة مستقلة. ومنذ تأسيس الأمم المتحدة، كانت القضية الفلسطينية محورا رئيسيا في جهود المنظمة لحل النزاعات الدولية، وفي عام 1947 ، اقترحت الأمم المتحدة خطة تقسيم فلسطين إلى دولتين، لكن هذا الاقتراح لم ينفذ بسبب النزاع القائم.

Abstract:

The Palestinian issue is one of the most complex issues in the world, with roots dating back to the first half of the 20th century. It concerns the political and human rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state. Since the founding of the United Nations, the Palestinian issue has been a central focus of the organization’s efforts to resolve international conflicts. In 1947, the UN proposed a plan to partition Palestine into two states, but this proposal was never implemented due to the ongoing conflict.

In recent years, the UN has witnessed increasing support for Palestinian rights, including voting in favor of a resolution granting Palestine non-member state status in 2012. This resolution contributed to strengthening the Palestinian identity on the international stage. Palestine is therefore seeking full membership in the UN, which is considered an important step toward international recognition of Palestinian rights. However, this move faces resistance, particularly from some member states, including the United States. The Palestinian issue remains a hot topic in international discussions, as the UN continues to work to find a peaceful solution that guarantees the rights of all concerned parties.
