Abstract:
This study aims to explore the role of ethical marketing in shaping and enhancing the brand image in the minds of consumers, particularly in a marketing environment characterized by increasing public awareness and heightened competition among brands. The study adopts a descriptive-analytical methodology, addressing the theoretical dimensions of ethical marketing in terms of its concepts, principles, and foundations. It further analyzes the relationship between corporate ethical practices and their perceived brand image from the consumer’s perspective. A questionnaire was employed to collect data from a diverse sample of consumers, with the aim of testing the study’s hypotheses and identifying the impact of ethical values—such as honesty, fairness, privacy, and environmental responsibility—on consumer trust, loyalty, and overall brand perception.
The study concludes that ethical marketing is one of the most influential factors in forming a positive and stable brand image. It contributes significantly to enhancing trust, emotional connection, and long-term consumer loyalty. Moreover, ethically driven marketing campaigns have shown to yield more sustainable outcomes than misleading campaigns, which often result in eroded trust and declining market value once exposed. In light of these findings, the study recommends that organizations adopt transparent and responsible marketing policies, and integrate ethical considerations into brand-building strategies to ensure long-term competitive success.
