الملخص :

يتناول هذا البحث دراسة الوصف والتصوير في شعر المثقّب العبدي، بوصفهما عنصرين أساسيين في تشكيل الخطاب الشعري الجاهلي، ومنطلقًا لفهم البنية اللغوية والأسلوبية لهذا الشعر. ويسعى البحث إلى تحليل لغة الوصف من حيث مكوّناتها المعجمية والتركيبية والبلاغية، وما تنتجه من صور شعرية ودلالات فنية، تكشف عن قدرة الشاعر على توظيف اللغة العربية في نقل المشاهد وتصوير الأحوال والهيئات بدقة وثراء. ويعتمد البحث المنهج التحليلي اللغوي، من خلال تتبّع الألفاظ الوصفية، وأنماط التراكيب النحوية، والأساليب البلاغية كالتشبيه والكناية والطباق والجناس، إضافة إلى دراسة الإيقاع ودوره في دعم الوظيفة التصويرية. ويخلص البحث إلى أن المثقّب العبدي يمتلك كفاءة لغوية عالية مكّنته من بناء لغة وصفية متميزة، جعلت شعره جديرًا بالدرس النقدي، وأسهمت في إبراز خصوصية تجربته الشعرية ضمن سياق الشعر الجاهلي.

Abstract :

This study examines description and imagery in the poetry of Al-Muthaqqab Al-‘Abdi, considering them fundamental components in shaping pre-Islamic poetic discourse. The research aims to analyze the descriptive language in terms of its lexical, syntactic, and rhetorical elements, and the poetic images and meanings it generates. Adopting a linguistic-analytical approach, the study explores the poet’s use of descriptive vocabulary, grammatical structures, and rhetorical devices such as simile, metaphor, antithesis, and wordplay, as well as the role of rhythm in enhancing visual representation. The findings reveal that Al-Muthaqqab Al-‘Abdi demonstrates remarkable linguistic and stylistic competence, enabling him to construct a rich and effective descriptive language. This distinctive descriptive ability contributes to the aesthetic value of his poetry and highlights its significance within the broader context of pre-Islamic Arabic poetry.
